Visiting USF & the Center for Career & Professional Development (Tampa)

Are you planning to visit campus for an event?  Would you like to meet with our Industry to Campus Connections team?

Start by registering in Handshake to participate in an event OR send an email to RecruitUSF@usf.edu to schedule an appointment. Please note, that appointments are required to meet with our Industry to Campus Connections team.

Once you have an appointment scheduled, or have a confirmed event reservation,  know that we want to make your visit to campus as smooth as possible, so please review the parking and directional information below before your visit to campus. And be sure to review where visitor parking is located on our campus map. Due to heavy demand, parking on campus can be a challenge – when you arrive give yourself 30 to 45 minutes to obtain a parking pass/locate a meter, park, and walk to our office or event.

PARKING AND DIRECTIONAL INFORMATION

Destination: USF Center for Career & Professional Development
Location: Student Services Building, 4202 E. Fowler Ave, SVC 2088

  • Once you turn onto campus from Fowler Ave, you will be on Leroy Collins Blvd (stay in the right lane).
  • Take Leroy Collins Blvd until you pass the library.
  • Right after you pass the library, you’ll see a parking lot on your right; turn RIGHT into the parking lot and then turn LEFT and proceed straight into the parking garage.
  • You will be parking in the Collins Parking Garage on the 2nd floor (your ground level if you entered from Leroy Collins Blvd).
  • Park in a visitor space along the west and north sides of the 2nd floor. Note the space number and the amount of time allocated for that space.
  • In order to have the greatest likelihood of getting an “All Day” parking spot in this garage, it is recommended that you arrive prior to 8:00 a.m.
  • Please note you will only be able to pay for the allotted hours above; additional hours can only be bought when your time allotment is up.
  • Proceed to the Self Service Pay Station near the elevator (ONLY TAKES Visa or MasterCard…NO CASH).
  • Enter the space number; make sure to prominently display your parking pass.
  • The Center for Career & Professional Development is located in the Student Services Building, which is directly adjacent to the Collins Parking Garage.
  • Walk through the Student Services breezeway and take the outside stairs (on your right) to the 2nd Floor of the SVC building.
  • Turn LEFT at the top of the stairs and head to the end of the walkway.
  • Turn LEFT and proceed through the double glass doors.
  • Career Services is at the end of the hallway, on your left, in SVC 2088.
  • OR, to use an elevator, when coming from the garage take the first door in the SVC breezeway on your right, walk down the hallway to the elevator lobby, and take an elevator up to the 2nd floor; the Center for Career & Professional Development will be to your right as you exit the elevators.

  • Daily permits can be purchased online from the main Parking and Transportation Services website or at the Campus Information Center, located on USF Leroy Collins Boulevard; the permit must be displayed in the vehicle.
  • To navigate to the parking garage from the campus main entrance, make a RIGHT onto Alumni Dr.
  • Make a LEFT onto Maple Dr.
  • Make a LEFT onto Holly Dr.
  • Make a LEFT onto Myrtle Dr.
  • Once parked, walk south out of the garage through the metered parking lot.
  • Continue down the sidewalk to the right of the Student Health Services building.
  • Follow the path under the green pyramids to the Student Services Breezeway.
  • Walk through the breezeway and take the outside stairs (on your left) to the 2nd Floor.
  • Turn LEFT at the top of the stairs and head to the end of the walkway.
  • Turn LEFT and proceed through the double glass doors.
  • Career Services is at the end of the hallway, on your left, in SVC 2088.
  • OR, to use an elevator, when coming from the garage take the first door in the SVC breezeway on your right, walk down the hallway to the elevator lobby, and take an elevator up to the 2nd floor; the Center for Career & Professional Development will be to your right as you exit the elevators.
