Student Life and Engagement Social Media Assistant
Student Life and Engagement works to get students involved on campus through student organizations, attending on campus events, or participating in programs. SLE uses social media to highlight what social life and engagement looks like at USF St. Petersburg campus on Instagram and Facebook. We are looking for a student to fill the role of the SLE Social Media Assistant.
Compensation: $13/hour, 5 hours/week
Report to: Abigail Bradley-Tyler, Assistant Director for Student Involvement
You will serve on the Marketing Team with the Marketing Student Assistant.
Job Duties:
- Assist with creating and posting on social media
- Reels
- Posts
- Stories
- Highlights
- Create and maintain the social media calendar
- Outreach to student organizations or campus departments to create collaborative posts
- Managing online engagement (responding to DMs, liking/responding to comments, monitoring what we’re being tagged in)
- Monitoring analytics (seeing what content is working, what isn’t, and knowing if we need to
- Pivot our social strategy based on the analytics)
- Researching current trends
- Tracking what fellow universities/competition are doing
