My name is David Leevee. I am the founder and managing partner of White Birch Partners, LLC. Our primary business is in sales and marketing strategy and then sometimes that leads into content development. We have written books with our clients. They get the title, right, they get the name of the book jacket. We're kind of the ghostwriters. And we also have been known to write blogs and do that kind of work. But it really all stems from the sales and marketing strategy that we start with. In the world of enterprise software, you know, we work with billion dollar companies, medium-sized companies, but primarily I'd say the last four or five years we've really been working with relatively early-stage startup companies. So one of the companies I'm working for right now is a shipping company that has built a platform to help companies that own and operate oil tankers manage their fleets more efficiently and profitably. The first thing will be, you know, why was I referred, what is the business need. Right, and in the case of the companies we've been working with for the last several years, they're all at a similar startup stage. And by the time they reach me they maybe have maybe between, you know, two and 10 clients, right. And they're figuring out how best to service them but what they don't have is really where I come in which is they don't have process in place, they don't know how to manage a sales process, there's no marketing, there's no sense of how you should tell your story. All classic sort of marketing 101 things. Market segmentation, understanding your customers, what are their needs, things like that. So what I come into an engagement is have a discussion around those areas which would start with well why did I get referred to you in the first place. Why do you think you need my help? My job is to say okay, this is the problem, here's where I can't help you, and here's where I can help you and here's what that engagement might look like.
