Grad School Live! Beyond the Bachelors Week

About Grad School Live!

Explore What’s Next After Your Degree

Whether you’re curious about graduate school, considering a gap year, or already planning your next steps, Grad School Live! Beyond the Bachelors Week is your chance to explore a wide variety of programs and pathways beyond your bachelor’s degree—with no pressure, no resume, and no prep required.

This week-long event features 30-minute information sessions hosted by graduate and professional schools from across the country. You’ll get real insight into admissions processes, program expectations, funding opportunities, and how to stand out—directly from program representatives. Explore graduate certificates and post-baccalaureate programs to masters, doctoral, and professional school options.

  • Use your curiosity to explore programs that interest you—or learn about ones you never even knew existed. Whether you’re thinking long-term or just exploring options, these sessions are for all students.
  • Considering a gap year? Find out how taking a class or earning a graduate certificate can strengthen future applications and keep your academic momentum going.

What to Expect

  • Attend in-person or online — in-person locations are available on each USF campus and Teams links will be provided for each session.
  • Go to multiple sessions — attend any session that piques your interest.
  • No prep — No resumes or dressing up. Just come as you are.
  • Ask questions freely — this is about exploring, not applying.
  • Access info session recordings – all information sessions will be posted on the USF Center for Career and Professional Development website so that you can revisit them later.

Grad School Live! is for students and alumni of all majors and all class years who are thinking ahead or figuring out if grad school is in their future. Let your curiosity lead you!
