Job Title: Student Assistant – TSE
Job Description:
As a Student Assistant in the Regional Chancellor’s suite, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, students and campus partners. This position requires a poised, professional and welcoming presence, as you will represent the Office of the Regional Chancellor and play a vital role in creating a positive and supportive atmosphere. In addition to general receptionist tasks, you will assist with scheduling, office operations, and special projects—contributing to the smooth, day-to-day functioning of a dynamic leadership environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Greet all visitors with warmth and professionalism, serving as an ambassador for the Regional Chancellor’s Office.
· Manage incoming calls, voicemails, and transfers in a courteous and efficient manner.
· Assist in preparing conference rooms and setting up for meetings with attention to detail.
· Support general office functions including monitoring supplies, making coffee and maintaining a tidy and welcoming environment.
· Facilitate golf cart reservations, maintain status logs and manage office keys.
· Order office stationery and promotional items, including business cards, envelopes, nametags and door signs.
· Use tools like Canva and pre-set templates for printing labels or creating materials.
· Track and manage inventory of promotional and swag items.
· Accurately complete and submit timecards in a timely manner.
· Communicate effectively with team members and provide logistical support for special events or projects.
Daily Expectations:
· Morning shift: Log in, check emails and calendars, answer phones, prepare coffee, and ensure the office is presentable.
· Afternoon shift: Review logs from earlier shifts, update calendars, clean up for the next shift and confirm upcoming meeting setups
Pay: $13.50 per hour.
