USF St. Petersburg HR Office is seeking a customer service-oriented Student Assistant (FWS) to assist with reception, and general office duties. The desired applicant must be self-motivated, friendly, professional, and team oriented. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the high demand industry of Human Resources.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in greeting guests and answering a multi-line receptionist phone
- Assist in inventory of office supplies and maintaining copy center
- Assist with new hire onboarding process
- Perform light clerical and general office duties
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicant must have a current Federal Work Study (FWS) award for the current academic year in order to apply for this position. Applicants are asked to demonstrate proof of their FWS award by saving their “Award Overview” screen from OASIS as a print screen and then pasting it into a Word document and upload it as part of any additional required application materials. If other documents (in addition to your FWS award) are required as part of your application, you must upload ALL documents as one document.
HR Specialist (Temporary)
(Up to 20 hours per week /M-F FLEXIBLE WORK SCHEDULE)
USF St. Petersburg HR Office is seeking a customer service-oriented HR Administrative Specialist (temporary) to assist with reception, scanning personnel file documents and general office duties. The desired applicant must be self-motivated, friendly, professional, and team oriented. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the high demand industry of Human Resources.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in greeting guests and answering a multi-line receptionist phone
- Assist in inventory of office supplies and maintaining copy center
- Assist with new hire onboarding process
- Schedule meetings and appointments for Directors and other team members.
- Prepare and scan documents into an electronic system
- Perform clerical and general office duties
- Perform other administrative duties as required to support the mission and function of the unit
Qualifications:
· Basic computer skills
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
· Good Oral and Written communication
· Ability to answer multi-line telephone and route calls
· Able to maintain a high level of professionalism
