Equity LifeStyle Properties (ELS) is seeking a part-time Water Taxi Captain to provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation for guests traveling to and from Bay Point Resort. This position is responsible for operating the water taxi in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company safety procedures while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operates the water taxi safely and professionally in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Transports passengers to and from Bay Point Resort while maintaining a safe, courteous, and enjoyable experience
- Conducts pre-departure and post-trip vessel inspections to help ensure safe operating conditions
- Monitors weather and water conditions to determine the safe operation of the vessel
- Maintains scheduled routes and departure times while prioritizing passenger safety
- Communicates professionally with passengers and answers questions regarding water taxi operations
- Ensures compliance with all company safety policies and maritime operating procedures
- Maintains a clean, organized, and presentable vessel
- Responds appropriately to emergency situations and follows established emergency procedures
- Performs additional duties as assigned
Qualifications / Requirements
- Valid U.S. Coast Guard 50 Ton Master Captain’s License required
- Strong knowledge of safe vessel operation, navigation, and applicable maritime regulations
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and remain calm in changing weather and operating conditions
- Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak boating season
